BACK TO THE ROOTS: RECONNECTING WITH NATURE.

In a world saturated with synthetic substitutes, it is important to go back to our roots and rediscover the beauty of nature. Most humans are currently very detached from the natural environment. The introduction of technology has played the biggest part in this disconnection that only appears to grow worse with time.

THE IMPACT OF NATURE

Research has shown that appropriate exposure to nature helps improve mood, reduce stress and ultimately contributes to a longer and healthier life.

Being outdoors in the embrace of nature does not only have emotional impacts. There are also physical and health benefits to be achieved. Taking a walk frequently can help people who are trying to lose weight. The frequent movement could ease certain pains in the joints, help in controlling certain health variables like blood pressure level, heart rate, muscle tension, and a host of others.


DEVIATION FROM NATURE

Even with the many benefits nature provides, we tend to shift farther and farther from it as the years go by. A lot of people will rather spend their leisure time playing games or doing an activity on their phones, rather than taking a walk in the park and just soaking in the beauty of nature. The modern day is not designed to accommodate this and as a result, one has to make a conscious effort to reconnect with the roots.
